Hi all! I'm sorry I've been away for so long, but a lot of exciting things have been happening. I went to Disneyland, bought two new snakes, and I'm going to view another one tomorrow! And now we are officially in breeding season, the temps have been turned up and I'm getting ready to start pairing males to Mumma Fifi! Yay!
This blog post however is going to be about one of my new additions; my male Banana! Since I started the hobby I always knew that one day I'd have to own a Banana, and now I do! I'd never actually seen one in person before I got this one, and I only had pictures from the breeder that I bought him from. Side note: I'd always recommend viewing a snake before buying or paying any sort of deposit because pictures don't show true colours/size/health etc. It was only because the breeder I bought my Banana from is a friend and I trust him!
So anyway, having not seen a Banana Royal in person before I'd really underestimated how amazing he would look. As soon as I saw him, I shrieked with excitement! He is absolutely stunning, and these pictures really don't do him any justice. I was completely amazed by his colours and markings, and I love being able to look into his tub and see his beautiful face whenever I want! And he fed just four days after I got him, so I'm a happy Mummy!
You can probably guess that I haven't named him yet! I've come up with plenty of names but nothing that I think really suits him.. it's been difficult. I'm going along the Disney theme and was thinking either Buzz or Flounder, but I really don't know. So if anyone has any suggestions please comment below!
