I'm super duper excited to tell you guys that I've just bought a Banana Royal Python! This is my dream morph to own, and I've wanted one ever since I started in this hobby. He's a male and is currently 290g, so hopefully he will be up to weight and old enough to breed this year with Fifi. Which will mean next year... I should have a lovely bunch of Bananas!
I can't tell you how overwhelmed and happy I am that I'm getting this snake. I think the Banana gene is absolutely gorgeous, and produces some beautiful snakes when mixed with other morphs. I need to sit down and work out how he will fit into my breeding plans, but for now I'm just really excited to own a Banana in the first place!
I'm getting a few other morphs from the same breeder at the same time I pick up my Banana, so I'm going to try to do an 'unboxing' video so you can see how beautiful they are! If not, I'll definitely post plenty of pictures :)
Here's a full picture of the beautiful boy! Now I'm just counting down the days until I bring him home with me!
